Before painting, you must prepare the chair's surface. Use Easy Sand, a rub-on, rub-off liquid sandpaper which allows dust free preparation. Follow instructions on the bottle. You can also use sandpaper, but you must clean away dust and debris afterwards.
Using a brush or mini roller if appropriate, apply Furniture and Cupboard Paint to the surface of the chair. If you want a multi-coloured effect, mask the sections that to be painted second, and then swap when the first colour is dry, masking off the painted areas. Remember to use low-tack masking tape so the paint is not pulled off when you remove it.
Leave paint to dry, as per instructions of the tin, and then enjoy your new look furniture!
