You will need...
Other things to get...
- A clean cloth
Step by step
-
Cover areas which you don't want to paint with masking tape. Particularly where the power cord goes into the base.
-
Prime the surface of the lamp stand with Japlac Primer and Undercoat. If the surface has been previously painted, remove any flaking material and spot prime bare areas. Follow instructions on tin and wait to dry before applying top coat.
-
Use International Japlac Metallic in either a tin or aerosol. Follow instructions on the pot or can, remembering to lay a dust sheet in the surrounding area before painting. If you are using the aerosol, do so in a well ventilated area.
-
Remember several thin coats work better than one thick one! Leave to dry for 24 hours before use.
