How to paint a radiator
Transform a radiator with any standard emulsion colour which you choose to paint your room in.

- A natural bristle paint brush
- Fine grade sandpaper
Step by step

Turn the radiator off and allow it to cool thoroughly.

Clean the surface to remove all traces of grease and grime. Use a cloth and some water with a light detergent. Dry thoroughly before you continue.

For previously painted and enamelled radiators, sand down, dust clean and then spot prime bare areas with new Quick Drying Radiator Primer. This will help to protect the radiator from rusting.

For bare or factory primed radiators, apply two coats of Quick Drying Radiator Primer, following tin instructions.

Wash brush with the appropriate brush cleaner.

Once the primer is completely dry, apply emulsion, following manufacturer's specifications

Once dry, sand lightly and dust, then apply two even coats of Radiator Clearcoat - allow four hours drying time before each application.

Once again, after use wash brush with the appropriate brush cleaner
