Clean the tiles with water and a mild detergent. The paint will not adhere to the tiles as well if they have grease or dirt on the surface.
Use One Coat Tile Paint, here we used Serene Green. Apply with a brush or use a mini roller for speed and ease.
If you want to create an effect like we have here with multiple colours, then use low-tack masking tape to protect the inside edges of the tiles you are painting differently.
Remove the making tape before the paint has dried. After 8 hours, mask the edges of the tiles to be painted with the contrasting colour, again removing the tape after painting. We used One Coat Tile paint in Muted Mocha.
The paint will be dry in 8 hours. To finish off the new look, go over grubby grout lines with the Grout Pen. It not only whitens, but also prevents future mould growth!
