Growing greens & doing up doors

International paint is launching a great range of six new colours for 10 Year Exterior Gloss paint including a lovely new summery 'Rolling Dales' green. It's the perfect colour to give a fresh new look to tired old garden furniture. But while you've got the paintbrush out, why not create your own herb and veg boxes to match? It's simple to do and looks as delicious as the ingredients will taste!

But it's not enough just to look good, an exterior paint has got to face up to the extremes of the weather. Bright sunlight can fade it, while winter chills can make it crack and peel. The perfect answer is 10 Year Exterior Gloss or Satin, for long lasting protection. It works on any exterior wood, from doors to gates, sheds to window frames - as well as your garden furniture.

Using Exterior Wood Primer and 10 Year Exterior Gloss, we transformed two old crates into a miniature garden set for growing herbs and salads. The result looks good indoors as well as out. With the same paint, we also transformed some miniature baskets into a complementary set of planters for displaying pretty primulas.

Now's the time to create a fabulous first impression with a newly painted front door. Not only has International introduced a new selection of colours to the 10 Year Exterior Gloss Range, the summer is also a good time to be painting doors. Warmer weather means it's not such a fuss to have the front door open and the good light will make it look even better when the job's done.
