No sealer can compensate for a low quality or poorly prepared substrate. Before you begin painting, the floor surface must always be in a sound condition: clean, dry and free from dirt, grease or other contaminants.
Bare concrete: A brittle surface layer develops when concrete originally dries, which must be removed before painting. To remove, brush thoroughly with a wire brush. Remove all dust. Avoid the inhalation of dust. Wear a suitable face mask.
New concrete: newly laid concrete must be allowed to dry for at least 1 month prior to sealing. Then treat as bare concrete.
Bare brick or stone: Remove all loose or flaking material by wire brushing. Remove all dust. Avoid the inhalation of dust. Wear a suitable face mask.
Very smooth and hardened surfaces: Contact the Customer Advice Centre prior to application for advice on preparation.
How to use
Stir well with a broad stirring stick to the bottom of the can.
Apply one coat using a natural bristle brush or roller suitable for solvent-based paints.
Very porous surfaces: Only apply a second coat if necessary on very absorbent surfaces.
Rising damp may cause paint coatings to lift.
Cleaning
Remove as much paint as possible from brushes before cleaning. For best results use Polycell Brush Cleaner.

Overcoat with International Quick Drying Floor Paint or another suitable floor paint.
NOT suitable for use over self-levelling compounds, dustproofers and hardeners or on powerfloated floors.
