Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from dirt, grease and other contaminants.
Bare wood: Sand smooth and wipe clean. If necessary, cover any knots with International Knotting Solution and prime with an appropriate wood primer.
Bare metal: Ensure the surface is free from rust. Prime with International Anti Rust Primer or another appropriate metal primer. Non-ferrous metal should be primed with a primer such as International Special Metals Primer.
Previously painted surfaces: Remove any flaking or blistered paint and ensure bare areas are spot primed with an appropriate International primer. Sand down and wipe clean.
Bare MDF: Sand smooth and wipe clean. Prime with International Quick Drying MDF Primer.
How to use
Stir well with a broad stirring stick to the bottom of the can. This is essential to ensure an even colour and finish.
Apply 2-3 generous coats using a good quality brush. Alternatively, apply 6 generous coats using a foam roller.
Allow the first coat to dry thoroughly before applying subsequent coats.
Cleaning
Remove as much paint as possible from brushes before cleaning. For best results use Polycell Brush Cleaner.
