Quick Drying MDF Primer

  • Surface preparation
  • Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from dirt, grease and other contaminants. Always wear a protective mask when cutting or sanding MDF. Bare MDF: Prime any exposed screws or nails with an appropriate metal primer. Previously painted surfaces: Remove any flaking or blistered paint. Sand down and wipe clean.
  • How to use
  • Stir well with a broad stirring stick to the bottom of the can. Apply 2 coats using a synthetic brush. Apply liberally and brush well into the surface and end grain. Allow the first coat to dry thoroughly, then sand down lightly with fine grade sandpaper and wipe clean with a dry cloth before applying the second coat.
  • Cleaning
