Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from grease, mould, limescale and other contaminants. This is essential as paint can only adhere to clean surfaces.
How to use
Stir well with a broad stirring stick to the bottom of the can.
Apply 1 coat using a synthetic brush or roller suitable for water-based paints.
Allow the primer to dry thoroughly for 4 hours. Any imperfections can then be sanded down lightly and dusted clean, prior to applying the topcoat.
Not recommended for floors, kitchen work surfaces or near heat sources e.g. cookers and hobs.
Cleaning
Remove as much paint as possible from brushes before cleaning with water.

Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960s paint surfaces over wood and metal as they may contain harmful lead.
Trade tip
Tile Paint Primer is not a protective finish and should be overcoated. Avoid excessive humidity until the primer is overcoated.
