Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from dirt, grease and other contaminants.
New plaster: Allow to dry thoroughly for at least 2 weeks. Remove dusty surface deposits by wiping with a damp cloth, and allow to dry overnight.
Old plaster, brick and stone: Remove all flaking material and other surface deposits. Remove any mould with a proprietary cleaner. Rinse well and allow to dry.
How to use
Stir well with a broad stirring stick to the bottom of the can.
Apply at least two coats using a synthetic brush or high density foam roller suitable for water-based paints.
Cleaning
Remove as much paint as possible from brushes before cleaning with water.

Avoid the inhalation of dust. Wear a suitable face mask if dry sanding.
Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960s paint surfaces over wood and metal as they may contain harmful lead.
Trade tip
Universal Primer Sealer is a clear, preparatory product and MUST be overcoated with emulsion or another suitable topcoat.
When coating floors - use International Concrete Sealer instead.
If there are salts in the plaster that could cause discolouration of the emulsion, use International Alkali Resistant Primer Sealer instead.
